Dr. Amberlee Cobler, DVM

Dr. Amberlee Cobler is a 2013 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up in Morgan County, KY on the family farm and attended Morehead State University for undergraduate studies. It was her dream to own a veterinary practice that provides quality and affordable care to pets in rural and central Kentucky. After three years of small animal practice as a relief veterinarian and with Banfield Pet Hospital she was prepared to start a new chapter in her career. In Summer 2016 this was realized with the mobile veterinary practice, Pet Wellness On Wheels, with the goal of traveling to locations around Central and Eastern Kentucky. Now she has happily settled in Cynthiana to serve the communities small animal veterinary needs. Dr. Cobler and her husband John have 3 amazing children that fill their lives with love and meaning. Their home is also graced with a small herd of dogs and cats, one bird and a snake.

Dr. Sonia Lacki is a 2004 graduate of Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a small and exotic animal veterinarian with years of experience in many species including rabbits, rodents, ferrets, birds and reptiles. Sonia enjoys gardening, kayaking and rescuing animals, with a special interest in opossums and box turtles. She resides in Georgetown with her family and a menagerie of unique pets. She believes in practicing medicine with a strong sense of compassion toward both the patient and owner.

Marley Lowe

Marley has had a lifelong passion for veterinary medicine. From a young age she decided she wanted to be “a doctor for animals”. Over the past decade and a half, Marley has only worked in the veterinary field, starting in the kennel, working her way to being a nurse, and then branching out to various specialties, and management. Marley is also a student at UK working towards an MBA and Ph.D. in Veterinary Sciences while applying to Auburn for Veterinary Medicine. Outside of work, Marley has a dynamic duo of military trained Belgian Malinois’, Justice & Phoenix, a quartette of feline friends, a python, and a 75-gal freshwater fish tank. Marley and her husband Bryan love to spend time together doing activities outside with the Mals such as hiking, hunting, off-roading and anything involving the water!

Terri is an experienced veterinary assistant with 17 years in the field, driven by a lifelong passion for animals and a commitment to their well-being. Her journey in veterinary medicine began in 2007 while living in Hawaii. Over the years, Terri has lived in various states, and she is now based in Kentucky to be closer to her family. She has diverse experience, including shelter medicine and a solid understanding of exotic animal care. Terri is a certified veterinary assistant through Penn Foster Online Education and is actively pursuing her veterinary technician license through online studies. In addition to her technical expertise, she is Fear Free certified and CPR certified, ensuring a compassionate and high standard of care for all patients. Terri is dedicated to continuously expanding her knowledge and is passionate about educating clients on how to best care for their pets. She currently resides with four German Shepherds, further reflecting her deep love for animals.

Willa comes to us with experience in just about anything exotic or small pet. From owning rats to ferrets and dogs and cats, Willa has been a wonderful asset to our team. She lives with her family, including her two-year-old son who is the light of her life. She has several dogs and cats and various rodents and reptiles. Before joining our team, Willa worked with an animal shelter where she did adoptions and cared for hundreds of homeless pets. She is a recent graduate of Medquest College (May 2024) and is working towards becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
